Parent Letter update

Dear Barrowtown Parents,

I hope you and your family are well and enjoying your time together at home.  We are sure missing the company and laughter of our Barrowtown children at school.  We look forward to seeing them again when the time comes.

The teachers are working very hard to prepare meaningful and engaging learning activities for the children to work on at home starting this coming Monday (April 6th).  Your child(ren)’s homeroom teacher(s) will have been in contact with you by today or tomorrow to go over ways to communicate and to discuss what supplies and technology are needed.

If your child’s homeroom teacher would like you to pick up a package or items from the school, you can do so this coming Friday between 10:00 and 4:00.  Just give me a call on my cell phone (604-360-2565) on Friday to arrange a time.  As precautions, we ask the following:

Parents and students to remain outside the school building.  Supplies can be picked up at the front entrance doors.
Families are asked to observe the two metre social/physical distancing rule.  It is probably best to remain and wait in the car if you see another family already at the front entrance.

In the days and weeks ahead, I will be sending you brief updates and useful information to help your child(ren) continue their learning from home.  If you have any questions, please feel free to send me an e-mail or to give me a call.
