A message on behalf of Fraser Health...

As the new school year begins, it’s important to ensure your child’s immunization records are up to date. Fraser Health has provided immunization newsletters for elementary and middle/secondary level students, explaining how to check and update your child’s immunization records and book an appointment if needed. Fraser Valley Hatchery Field Trip (Gr K-5) September 24th, 2024

Grade K-5 students will be travelling by school bus and departing our school at 9:15am and returning by 2:00pm.

Tours run rain or shine so please dress your child appropriately (boots or runners), jackets and play clothes please! Please send a snack and a lunch.

The cost of this field trip is $ 8.00 per student to cover bussing and admission.

Welcome back to a new and exciting school year at Barrowtown Elementary School. I hope that you and your family had a fun and restful summer break. All of us here at the school are thrilled to be welcoming our students back into our classrooms and having our hallways filled with energy and enthusiasm for the new school year.

Dear Parents/Guardians:

Your teachers at Barrowtown Elementary School are excited to offer the opportunity to purchase your school supplies through School Start for the 2024-2025 school year.  This process will save you both time and money.

Below are specific grade level supply lists.

Order deadline: Sept 26 (sorry, no late orders)

All meals will include Veggies & Dip, and a juice box.

Due to students who have severe allergies to peanuts, we encourage all parents to select nut-free items for student lunches and snacks. Please review the importance of hand washing etiquette before and after meals, and continued policy on not sharing food with other students. Let's keep all our kids safe!
