Barrowtown Elementary School – A Great Place to Learn & Grow!

Barrowtown Elementary is a small, rural, K-5 school located in Eastern Abbotsford. Our school is the heart of the community, demonstrated by the consistent support we receive from families and local businesses.

Our students benefit from small class sizes, innovative and exciting educational opportunities, time outdoors for learning, and an active and supportive parent community.

We are proud to be able to offer a unique educational program that uses agricultural literacy, sustainability, and environmental stewardship as vehicles to foster authentic and relevant hands-on learning that contributes to the personal and academic success of our students.

We enjoy support and partnerships with groups such as The University of the Fraser Valley, BC Agriculture in the Classroom, Farm2School, and Learning for a Sustainable Future to name a few. We have been chosen to be the recipients of several grants that support our program and allow us to provide so many opportunities for learning to our students.
