November PAC Minutes

January 11, 2022

Hello Barrowtown families,

A lot has happened in our area since November 2 when we had our last PAC meeting. That feels like a whole other world ago. We saw so much sadness and destruction, and we all sat with bated breath, wondering what we would come home to. Some of us came home to little or no damage, and others of us lost everything. I still can hardly write this without emotion, and yet, I am still so thankful to be part of this community.

We pulled together in our most desperate moments. We got to know each other on new levels, even if it was our first meeting. We supported each other and we will continue to support each other.

With that said, we have another PAC meeting tomorrow via Zoom. I have attached the November PAC meeting minutes to this email to remind us of what we were doing, and kind of what we are still doing, although there will likely be major changes to these plans.

Because so much has changed in the past 2 months, please come to the meeting so that we can collectively discuss our needs and wants for our kids and our school. We have new perspectives and hopes that came out of our flood experience, and we want to grow stronger from this.

We are very proud to be part of the Barrowtown community.

Sincerely,

Barrowtown PAC
