Principal Message

Dear Barrowtown Parents & Families,

The students were prepared to have the school’s panoramic photo taken rain or shine today, but because there are several staff absences, we decided it would be best to postpone picture day to another time.   Here are several other updates to share with our school community:

There is so much talent at Barrowtown School that we will need to have another Talent Show.  We sure enjoyed watching our students perform last week.  Our second Talent Show will take place tomorrow afternoon on Friday, May 28th in the gym.

Last week, the grade 4/5 students officially opened up their virtual shopping mall with a goal to raise money for the BC Children’s Hospital.  The students are hoping orders from Barrowtown students, parents, grandparents and family members will continue to come in.  They are excited to begin making and creating the products that have been ordered.  We look forward to your support.  Please see attached file for a copy of the order form.  The deadline for making purchases is extended until next week.
